Better late?

Time between last two posts: 1 month.  Time between this and the previous post: 1 year.  I guess the next post will be in a decade.

I'm not going to try and catch the blog up right now -- a lot of things happened.  Life, death, taxes, and other events both evitable and in-.  Hopefully we'll get to that.  The best way to catch up, however, is to spend a game night with us!

Short Halloween post today -- got an ever-overflowing buffer of things to do. (I know, security risks there.  I'll get to the bounds checking sometime...)   We've actually already done most of the interesting things, such as going to the belly of the corn (Cornbelly's corn maze and fall frivolity) with Ryan und Brianna Lee von Tagesbruch.  The girls (especially those under 1 year) requested an early exit from the maze, but we did get to walk about a bit, bounce in castles, ride hayride trains, pan for rocks, build with giant Legos, and sit in a chair (well, at least the von Lehi Lees did).

We found out that there WAS, in fact, a ward Hollow Bean party (complete with trunk-or-treating, though we couldn't get anyone to give us elephants).  That meant that we decided to put together our themed costume for the year, as seen below:

This year's theme hint is that we focused on Kirsti's brand of nerdiness (biology).  The costumes are sequential (ALMOST in descending order of age, but Maggie and Cindy got mixed up).
